“Imagine”
This Months More Than Words Challenge is to get messy and use the word Imagine. Boy can I get messy. That was easy. So I decided to mess around on a black canvas and see what happens.
So I started but finding the right words. I recently remodeled our kitchen and I have all the old handles and gadgets so I thought I might use them today.
I was going to use all three but changed my mind and only went with one focal point of the piece.
I finally get to play with the new 7 Dots Home grown collection, and to think I tore it up right way. I must be nuts. 😉
I adhered the layers with some gel and dried.
I used the wonky half tones stencil to add some more black to the composition.
I stamped some stars on the background and sealed the first layer with some gloss finish. I then painted my goods with some black gesso and started to put it all together.
I added a layer of white gesso, not wanting to cover it all, just a light layer.
I sprayed and then sprayed some more. I wanted to still be able to see the paper collection, I added some subtle splatters.
It wa still missing something so I added a little jute to give it altitude more texture.
