Tis the season of giving, I wanted to make some fun gift tags for those special people in my life. These tags were creative, I decided to incorporate gift cards right on the tag themselves. I used a file folder on one and a little gift bag on the other. I used the beautiful Yuletide collection for that classic reds and whites.
I started out using large tags and adding a layer of paper with the Gingerbread Paper. After minimal background stamping, I needed to work on the file folder to hold the one gift card. Using paper from the 6×6 Collection to cover the folder, I make a small cluster with the Die-Cut Elements and Stickers.
I layered up the gift cared with various tags and more elements and added the Merry Christmas Title and trees. I used a magnetic closure with the file folder to help keep it closed.
On the other tag, I used a small gift bag to hold the gift card.
Again using a small cluster of die-cut elements and stickers, I added more details on the bag and tag. I used a small amount of flowers, but wanted to give the effects of snow and ice to add to the feel of the seasons. I added glitter glass to those elements.
On the back side of the tags, I just made a small cluster and added a sentiment with the Word Stickers.
Here are a few more close-ups for you.
Here is a video of the creative process.
