A new month and a fun new challenge at Creative Embellishments, This one has a festive twist which is to add glitter to your project and who doesn’t like glitter.  And the picture is just gorgeous inspiration.

I made these tags just for some fun, playing around with some glitter and gold. 2 things I don’t normally use, so I just played and made them my own.

I started out with some texture to the background using the Grunge Star Stamp and decoupaging tissue paper with confetti in it. I also added some texture with the Galaxy Stencil and sprinkled some gold glitter on it.

I added gold foil to the Snow Pretty Word Set and then made a small flower cluster topping then off with the Shine Flair.

They were fun to make, but I still think gold is not my favorite colour to work with, but still great for the New Year. 😉
