Sunshine LO KOM

Sunshine

Another layout here today. This picture is of Blomer Pond one late afternoon a last fall. I used the Flying Unicorn June Kit of the Month and Prima’s salvage District collection.

I started my layout with a layer of clear gesso,  I spread it on pretty think and it ended up leaving some streaks on the paper, but not too noticeable on the end product.

After letting it dry I took some art alchemy silver and diluted it with water and used the kit stamp to make some background detail, so pretty depending on how the light catches it.

I used the same paint, painted a mould, then added some crackle glaze over the top. After the glaze dried, which should be done nauturally, I added some antiquing base to it, and let that dry. Then removed the excess with a moist cloth.

I cut some steps of paper and and stamped the chippie with some black ink. And distressed the edges with some ink.

I added some texture with some gesso and splattered some more. The nice thing is the weather was beautiful outside and I got to get some scrap on with a cold glass of wine and a beautiful view of my gardens.

I used some fixadent and some mica powder silver to make a mixture that I could splatter.

Now for assembly.

I started to layer the scraps of paper and some cheese cloth for some texture. I originally was not going to had any flowers but I just couldn’t resist. A very subtle little cluster.

Love how from different angles you see the shine and then you don’t. Gorgeous.
