“Destination”

Today I am sharing a BAP (Build A Page) Layout using the Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Month.  Lots of photos today.

I used the Authentique Explore collection and the Prima French Rivera 6×6.

I started out applying a coat of clear gesso. I find it works well if you plan on using a lot of media.

I found the photo I wanted to scrap, and now it is getting the background to work with the photo.

It time to play with the background. I picked a bunch of stamps and some stencils to play with.

I started with the Bo Bunny Stamp Stitches Stamp and the French Riviera Background stamp.

I used some Molding Paste to add some texture to sporadically on background.

Now time for some splatters. I used long toothpicks to achieve my look that I want.

IMG_5656

I picked a bunch of the French Riviera Collection to help make layering and some dimension to the composition.

I thought in needed a little something on the background so I added some twine that came in the kit. And now let the layering begin.

Enjoy the close-ups.

I used some fun adornments from the kit. Love the nautical theme.

I hope you enjoyed the process. For more inspiration check out the Flying Unicorn forum.

  1. I enjoyed the close ups.. love seeing how you created it. I need to look for long sticks around the house. In art class they had us draw with sticks off the ground.. I bet I could go find some. LOL. Wonderful page.
