Well…I made it through my first World Card Making Day. I never knew it existed. What a marathon of creating that day. I did end up making 8 cards in total. I will try and do a post with my creations.
Today is a card I made for Die~namites October Sketch Challenge. Challenge was to use Burlap.
I was all in a frenzy because I was missing one of my dies I thought I wanted to use for this project. So I re-thought my idea. Started to put it all together and thank goodness, I found my die I wanted to use. I was not going to change up now.
I normally don’t cut my dies out on patterned paper, but I have been trying to expand lately (and use up some of my stash). I was leery at first, but I think this came together fairly well.
I used the Funky Flower Die from Die~namites and intertwined them together for the base of the flower. Over the weekend I really dug in my room and found these metal sentiments. I added some detail and put it all together. Enjoy
Thank you for stopping.
Supplies Used: Paper: Prima Londenerry Collection; Paints/Inks/Sprays: Prima Color Bloom Precious Stone; Tattered Angels Mercury Glass Glaze; Liquid Pearls Gold Pearl; Dies: Die~namites Funky Flower, Budding Vine; Burlap: Canvas Corp Fringe; Embellishments: Hello Sentiment; Miriam Crafting Supply Flower; Queen & Co Rock Candy Gold.
Beautiful, it came together very well.
Love your version of the sketch. Way to go stepping out of your box and using patterned paper with your die. It turned out beautiful! Thanks for playing along with the sketch and dare challenge at Die-namites. Good luck!
