“Hello”

“Hello”

Well…I made it through my first World Card Making Day. I never knew it existed. What a marathon of creating that day. I did end up making 8 cards in total. I will try and do a post with my creations.

Today is a card I made for Die~namites October Sketch Challenge. Challenge was to use Burlap.

 Hello card 1

I was all in a frenzy because I was missing one of my dies I thought I wanted to use for this project. So I re-thought my idea. Started to put it all together and thank goodness, I found my die I wanted to use. I was not going to change up now.

Hello card close up

I normally don’t cut my dies out on patterned paper, but I have been trying to expand lately (and use up some of my stash). I was leery at first, but I think this came together fairly well.

Hello card

I used the Funky Flower Die from Die~namites and intertwined them together for the base of the flower. Over the weekend I really dug in my room and found these metal sentiments. I added some detail and put it all together. Enjoy

Thank you for stopping.
