Happy Birthday Shaker Cards

Hello all, I would love to share a fun set of cards I made for an upcoming boy birthday. I picked out an old paper pack that had a number of matching die-cuts along with some embellishments. I cut the cards to a size that I can make a matching envelope for.

Once cut to size, I took the cake shaker 2 and cake shaker 3 and painted them white. keeping in mind how they are going to stack up through the layers. Once I got all the base painting done, I needed to add some frosting. I pick a deep blue paint to match the paper.

I wanted to add a little more detail on the frosting portion on the cake so I added some glitter with the Dots Stencil and glitter paste.

Once everything was dry, I glue each layer together until it is time to do the filling. I gather a variety of filling to each of the cakes and seal with the acrylic layer, and then top it off with the last layer.

Once they were dry, I layered up the shakers and the die-cuts. I then painted the balloons to match and layered them on the inside of the card. I add some layering on each of the cards and stamp the sentiment.

I hope you enjoy the cards today and be creative, Thank you for stopping by today!
