Washi Tape Artist Trading Coins

A quick little project today. It’s been a while since I have made some artist trading coins so off to my craft room to get creating. I needed to make a quick and fast project. Weather has been warm here and I always have so much yard work to do in the spring. So my projects both inside and out have been keeping me busy.

But I made some quick mixed media washi tape coins.

Here is the video upload.

I started with painting one side black and the other side white. Kind of like a ying and Yang, good verse evil or what ever contrasting elements. I used the Side of the brush to add some texture to the paint.

Once dry I picked 4 different colours of waxes. I brushed each side. And then topped it off some silver wax.

Using the patterns stencil and matching with the washi tape chipboard. I added crackle paste to each side and let dry.

One the washi tape chipboard I tried to match some spray. But each wax looks so different on the contrasting background.

Once everything was dry. I found a simple sentiment sticker and a few gems.

Quick and easy. And fun to Create. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
