Welcome back, First of all I would like to apologise for the new view on WordPress. They recently upgraded, or updated, or revamped their site, and I am trying to figure it out and get used to it. Currently I wish I had the old format back. On to my post.
I would love to share a new post today. I have a number of cards I am going to need coming up really soon, so be prepared to see some inspiration. Plus Christmas is right around the corner.
I have been wanting to use the new acrylics in the store and this paper set works perfect with the Rose Gold Gears and Mirrored Acrylic Bronze Stars. They pull out the colours of the papers and add that extra shimmer and shine to the set.
I made a short video of the creative flow.
I did some work with the background paper using the Distress Script Stamp. just some random stamping and a little ink distressing before moving on to the Vintage Flourish 3 Sets.
Using Lava Paste on the Vintage Flourish 3 Set, I added a thick layer of paste and heat set the piece to get the bubble effect before adding spray for the colour.
I layered a few of the scraps of paper, before adding flowers and the Gears and Stars.
I finished off each with a inspirational quote. Before adding a few splashes and waxed tiger highlights of the flowers.
