Hello all, I would love to share a set of tags I made with lots of goodies from the store. Last year I made tags and they were a hit. We actually make maple syrup and what better gift at Christmas than a homemade maple syrup with a beautiful Christmas tag to go with it.
Funny thing, I made these while I was at Maggi’s, I had some issues with what I was seeing in my brain to what was happening on the tags. At one point, I only had No and Jo on the tags instead of Joyeux Noel. Boy did we laugh.
I did make a video of how these came together, I did edit out the No and Jo 🙂 Its a short one.
I assembled various tags and Artist Trading Coins with paper. I applies a layer of crackle paste with the Distressed Crackle Stencil and set aside to dry while I heat emboss all of the Merry Christmas sentiments and the snowflakes.
I love the deer heads and used them on the larger tags. I layered the Merry Christmas Sentiments and added a small flower cluster.
These little tags came out how I envisioned them. The Jouyeux hanging off the tag to where it is going to dangle. I added the snowflake in the flower cluster and used some deconstructed tacky old Christmas ornaments Jen, Billie and I found at a thrift sale on our walk.
Now these ones I thought were going to dangle like real ornaments, that is where the No and Jo came in. I struggled with the ribbon choice, but I was determined to get the right look…………ok well trash that, I just glue them down. 😉 but the Christmas Bulbs still dangled so I still got some of the effect I was looking for.
