Hello everyone, Thank you for stopping by today. I would love to share with you a card and tag set I made for a friend at work who is retiring after 25 years in the ER. Roxy is a craft gal herself and very artistic in so many ways. I made these thinking of her creativity.
These were made with the beautiful collection Le Repubbliche Marinare Collection from Ciao Bella Paper. The background details on the paper are amazing and some days I just dread covering up such pretties, but I also try and incorporated the details of the papers in the overall piece. I enjoy all the little details the papers have to offer. I have been told by some that the papers are unrecognizable when I get done with them, but then again its art and it is how it is interpreted by each individual. To each their own right? These cards are one of my favourites.
I am fascinated with the history behind the title of these pages which just adds to the project.
Here is the video of how these came together.
I like to give options, that is also one reason I usually make two, usually different and if I don’t like the one, I will make the other better.
Here are a few close-ups.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day!
