Hello all, Welcome back.
Today I am sharing a layout with lots of texture and feel. I love incorporating the photos into the the page itself. This was from our trip to Omaha Nebraska. We took a weekend trip down there, meet up with our friends from Colorado and hung out in Old Town Omaha. This part of the city has so much character and uniqueness.
Here is a short video of the creative process.
Using the paper to help give that vintage effect. I only mixed some texture paste with some modeling paste together. I spread it through the Distress Brick Stencil and put the heat gun to it. I applied a thick layer and new it was going to take some time to dry.
I layered the paper and used the distress brick stamp to add texture to the other side of the paper.
I originally started with the grunge corner chipboard but didn’t like the feel of it. I changed it to the acorn branch. I love how sturdy the chipboard is, it take colours and sprays so well. I used some spray to add colour both the branch and the acorn cluster.
After adding a few clusters in the acorn branch, I used some smaller paper embellishments to fill in the smaller holes on the page until I think it looks good.
Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!!!
