Hi everyone, I want to share a fun set of ATC’s made with the Collateral Rust collection from Ciao Bella Paper. This was just a relaxing set of ATC’s to make to just let the texture of the paints pull out the elements of the paper. Its just relaxing to have the brush in my hand and letting the flow on the paint just do it’s thing.
These little ATC’s were quick and easy to make, just some layering but more of the technique of adding some aging and rusting with minimal paints, a dab of water and a brush.
The beautiful thing with this paper collection, is there really isn’t a lot you have to do to manipulate and alter the paper in any way. The paper truly speaks Rust.
Adding the crackle glaze to the cut out signs helps give that worn look to them. And of course I love my quinnacridone gold.
Here are a few more close-ups for you.
I topped of the ATC’s with a few bolts from Andy Skinners Industrial Elements, rusting the elements to add to the overall look of the project.
Thank you for stopping by today.
