Hello all, I want to share a fun set of ATC’s, a bit on the grunge side. I was just creating, playing with the background, adding layers and layers and just seeing what it comes from just sitting and playing.
I made a video of the creative process of how these evolved.
I started with the background, adding a layer of paper to the ATC’s Tags from the store, making sure I paper on both sides. I always seal with a layer of clear gesso incase I use sprays or mediums, this helps protect the paper.
After some layering with washi tape. ( I have so much and never use it.) I used the distress grid stencil and some ink to add more details. After that dried I used the Distress Checkered Stencil and layer of thick sand paste. I set that aside to dry and started to work on the Scribble Bulbs.
I simply pushed the scribble bulbs into the ink pad to add the colour, I like the effect I got from this.
These are simple ATS’c not a lot of layers, just some fun grunge cards made just playing around. Some fun easy techniques combined to give them some unique texture and look. I finished them off with some cut out words from the paper.
I hope you enjoy the video, and thank you for stopping by today!
