Hello I would love to share a fun mixed media page I made using acetate and the fun Winter Frames from the store. Tis the season for cold weather, with the changes of the climates around the world, we are having less snow but more weather anomalies. I have the pleasure of coming home in the morning and experiencing the dense fog and sudden drop in temps. This leads to a huge icicle formations on everything around me.
I wanted to use the acetate to help give the feel of ice and the crazy icicle formations that happen with this sudden change in temps.
Here is a video of the creative process.
Here are some close-ups of the project
When working on the acetate, I knew I had to use inks that would not rub or smear, I started with the Grunge Snowflake Stamp and some archival ink. I then switched to some alcohol ink and the Distress Circle Stamp along with the Distress Chevron Stamp.
I added more feel to the page with the Distress Weave stencil and some thick texture paste. After adding some background colour I moved to the Winter Frames Chipboard and the Page Corner Flourishes.
I used Embossing powder to add to the chipboard.
I finished off the page with a little Snow Day Flair tucked into the flower cluster.
Thank you for stopping by today. Enjoy the creative Day.

I love the blue tones in the inspirational board, I incorporated the winter feel of the photos in to my layout.
