Retirement Pyramid Card

As Life goes on, people move on, and after 40 plus years one of the gals at work has finally decided to retire, at 78 years old. I was ask by a co-worker to make a cared just from their little group of girls for her. So Decided to make a pyramid card.

I have never made one before and needless to say, I really didn’t find much on the internet so it was a fair amount of experimenting with it. But I think the overall look was perfect, each layer there is a large space to write sentiments and encouraging warm words. IMG_1485

I incorporated the paper with various chipboard collections from the store, including Always Word Set, and the Heritage Word Set. With lots of layers of stamping and a few stencils here and there to give some of the pages a feel to them.

Here is a little video of how this looks page by page.

Here are a few close-ups of some of the pages.

With so many flips and twists to this card. Lots of stamping done on the background along with using the fishnet stencil and some texture paste. Maybe someday I will do a video on the process but I think I need to practice a few more.
