A Simple Layout today, with minimal details, sometimes less is really more. As the seasons change so do the blossoms in the gardens. My late bloomers are always a welcoming sign that autumn is now here. (my second favorite season).
If anyone knows me I love to add a good number of products to a layout, tons of texture, stamping and boat loads of layering. This one is different, I did very subtle background work on this piece, minimal stamping and texture. I concentrated more on the painting on the chipboard. I used oranges pinks and purples to full from the vibrant colour of the echinacea (Cone Flower), pulling the deep oranges from the inspirational mood board at Mixed Media Place.
Enjoy a few close-ups.
I wanted to add a little flair to the page using the March Flair Set, after all of my clusters were done I added some more stamping with the Distress Hexagon Stamp just around the focal point.
Thank you for stopping by today, enjoy the simple beauty that is all around up.
