As Summer fast approaches I am happy to share another month at Creative Embellsihemtns with the awesome inspirational picture! The twist was to use something nautical.

Under the Sea is a mixed media tag combo with tons of texture, details and mystical magic. Using the new 7 Dots Studio collection Hazy Days, the colors combo pulls out the underwater tones of the inspirational picture.

Using the thorn flourish and the large gears I added texture with some patina paste and highlight with wax.

Instead of a  flower cluster, I used a cluster of shells, texture sand and chippies to get that “under the sea” look.
