March Challenge.

Where is the time going, we have another monthly challenge over at CE. This month has a beautiful inspirational board. The twist is to add something that flies. So We hope you play along and get creative.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I have these fun envelopes and wanted to alter them in a bit of mixed media style.

I love dragonflies and used the Circles Panel and Flourish Dragonflies and added some Lindy’s spray to them. After it had dried I used some Crackle Glaze on the wings and set them aside to dry.

I used the Studio 75 Lavender Morning Collection and did some stenciling with the scribble heart stencil and stamped with the distressed corner stamp and distressed circle.

I cut up a metal butterfly to add more dimension to the tag.

After I got the tag done, I wanted to soften it up. Purples and pinks are not my two favorite colours so I added some white gesso with some dry brushing.

I topped it off with the heart Flair from the Valentine Collection. It turned out to be a cute envelope and tag set.
