Flight of the Butterfly

Sandra Evertson’s Relics and Artifacts has teamed up with Suzan Lenart Kazmer Iced Resins to push the imagination to create.

I have wanted to use the Papillon collection for a bit now and this just pushed me to get my rear in gear. What I had envisioned was to have this butterfly look like it was in flight and on the move.

I used the Iced Resin in each of the wings, encapsulating a fussy cut butterfly in one and with typed word butterfly in the other.

I added some detail to the back of the resin with some modeling paste, and shaping it with my fingers and some water on the upper portion and stamping into it on the lower portion.
