Getting my Punk On

Steampunk Style

What a fun challenge over at 7 Dots Studios this month. I will say I had fun getting my punk on. I love this picture of Olivia, she was being silly at grandma’s house.

This picture reminds me of a crazy mad scientist trying to build some wild contraption in their lab.

I originally had heat embossed the gears and after putting the layout together, realized I just really didn’t like the colour after I was done. I needed to darken and fix it.

I added some shimmerz texturez to darken the gears.

Lots of layering and a bit of experimenting of my own to complete this layout.

So I hope you all enjoyed and I encourage you all to get your punk on. Its a great challenge.
