This is my Happy Place
The mood board this month at Berry71Blue is just filled with gorgeous earth tones. And me being an earthy, dirt loving girl I am, this worked perfectly. It was just trying to find that perfect picture to showcase my serenity.
The theme to the mood board is Summer Hideaway. And here at the house, it is enough for us to sit relax and escape from the world and enjoy all that is around us.
This is one of my hosta’s that is unfurling earlier this spring. I saw the waterfalls in the background and just had to snap a pic.
So this is another layout that does not have flowers. Just lots of layering, and for those who know I hate fussy cutting, some of that on here too.
Surprisingly I looked and looked for a paper collection that would work with the mood board. After some long searching and bypassing great collections that had blues and pinks along with the color palette, I just mixed and match to make it work.
I love my summer hideaway (other than the weeds.)
