“Rustic Pleasures”
Flying Unicorn’s Paper selection this month was the new 49 and Market. It has very neutral colors and subtle details. Great for playing around with backgrounds and techniques.
This is a picture of some old gears I found at a vintage sale. My hubby said he could find a way to hang them if I wanted to “alter” them a bit. (The large plow wheel weighs about 25 pounds).
I used the Sunrise Sunset stencil that came in the kit and did some soft inking to the background. On top of that I used some modeling paste and a stencil for more texture.
I love Finn’s Rust pastes and I can’t use them enough. I altered a couple wood chippies and even went after the moulds with it.
I actually only took this picture to show Lydia the haul I came home with but after looking at it, it was a neat pic. I figured I could come up with something with it.
Prima’s Mechanical Steampunk Gears fit amazingly with the theme.
Thanks for taking a peak! Enjoy your day!
