“Spring Is Here”

Hello, Heather here today. Today I am going to showcase a fun little project seeing spring is here, hopefully to stay. Photo heavy post today.

Flying Unicorn has some of the most unique OTP (Off The Page) projects and a couple months back we got these bird houses. I liked them so much, I picked up a couple extras.

I started with a quick layer of gesso.

I have this wood paper. Which I made some shingles with for the roof effect.

I used some new Tales of You & Me. After some measuring, cutting and distressing, ready to assemble.

 I used some Shimmerz and the Creative Embellishments chippies that came in the March Kit and added some texture to the chippie.

Lots of Alda’s homemade flowers on this project! These are gorgeous.

Such a gorgeous spring project!
