“Generations”
Hello today, It’s been a couple days since I have posted. I have been so busy creating that I have been putting off this admin stuff. But I figured I have inhaled enough glitter over the past couple days, I should take a break.
So my friend asked me to make a layout of her dad, who was in the Army, and her son who just passed basic training for the Marines. Sure….why not…. I will give it a try. Thank goodness it turned out. I freaked out a bit worrying I was going to ruin the pictures.
Sorry for the glare on the photo, but you get the idea. So I added a lot to this layout. I went down to the Army Navy Store and found some great stuff for the layout. The gentleman working helped and showed me all kinds of goodies. I actually have enough to make another layout.
I used some gears from Creative Embellishments that I painted camouflage and picked up these little buckles. I cut some belt material and used it in the background.
I found a Department of Army and Air Force Technical Order book from 1953. I added some of that on here. A set of dog tags in the corner and I just had to put some flowers on there. But still looks masculine.
So I hope Tara’s dad likes it. (it is his Christmas present).
Thank you for stopping by today.
Heather
