OTP Lunch Box

OTP Lunch Box

I saw this antique lunch box at a thrift sale this summer and picked it up. I have been looking at it and just wondering what I could do with it. I decided to gussy it up a bit.  Lots of pictures with this post.

This was such a creative process that evolve dramatically. It started as one project, that ended up being a total of four.

here is the inside. it was pretty rough.

Love the LSG. Just needed to add some shine to the base.

I added a ton of goodies. Some chippies and just had some fun. I am trying to use up some of my stash.

Inside close up… but as I sat and looked at how pretty this turned out. There was too much open space, so I just had to fix that.

So I made a mini accordion tin, a mini album, and a candle holder.

I had to stay with a "low profile" here so it still fit in the tin.

Do I add pictures or do I just make it pretty. This one is going to be set aside until this particular mental block passes.

ok, This is how my desk has been the last 3 days trying to get over this block. not much productivity here but a royal mess.

And now to the candle holder. I used Tengel’s idea from the forum with the roll of tape as the template for the holder.

I used some May Arts Diamond Chain on the top (forgot to use some tissue tape, lol), and some Flying Unicorn Vintage lace as some trim.

Mental note to self. Do not light candle while still in lunch box. Fire Hazard.

Well I hope you all enjoyed the tons of pictures today! And thank you for spending some time here. I do plan on doing some more crazy projects like this. I picked up a wine bottle holder I have been brainstorming about. So hopefully soon I can get creative with that.
