“Faces”
What a fun challenge, Lynne is such a crazy amazing artist. She made a canvas back in June that was beautiful. She put us all to the test with this challenge. I did take a ton of pictures of the creative process.
Here is the final project. I have never used oil based paints before, so I did a little research on them but I could see them becoming addicting.
Here is the creative process.

I added some background stamp and some texturez with a plastic card. I penciled in the background shape of the head.

So lots of blending and lots of paint on my arm from setting my arm in it. I got it blended good for now. (I think she looks a bit green, the consensus at work is she has Olive skin)

So I made a “wig” so I had something to work with, I didn’t want to mess my background up so I worked in two parts.

So I laid out the hair, I love metal adornments. I totally trashed my room doing this project. It was such a blast.

It never goes back together how you first lay it out but it was darn close. I was all fretting my eyes look evil and Lydia told me to just layer the hair to cover the one.

So after pasting everything together on the wig. and darkening the lines with my grease pencil, I figured I would let her dry. (ok it only took 5 days)
Here is a close up of the finished piece. This was such an amazing project. Beautiful and Olivia loves it!!
Tons of fun stuff here. For more great inspiration check out the amazing talent in the forums.
Thank you for stopping by today. I do appreciate all of you.
