Gift Box & Mini Canvas

Gift box & Mini Canvas

A friend from work had gotten this little box of chocolates for secretary’s day.  I ended up eating  a few of them just to help her finish them off. The box was so cute and she was just going to throw it away. I told Missy I would make her something cute.  She does the rustic theme in her house and she’s a DYI kinda gal.

Here are some pictures of my creative process. And Of course I couldn’t just give her an empty box so I made a 4×4 canvas that fit in it.

Just an empty box. A coat or two of some gesso.

I love spray. So fun. But there is a learning curve that I still need work on.
