Double Canvas Untitled

Double Canvas Untitled

This is a double canvas I did to just get my hands scrappy and a little dirty. I have been jonzin’ to get some scrapping done.

double canvas

I started this Sunday night after seeing the Creative Embellishments March Challenge. I got out a couple 8×8 canvas’s and wanted to play some more with my march kit from Flying Unicorn.

Had a bunch of stuff laying out.

After trying a couple different flourishes, I found a couple that I like, I did use Flourish 17 and Heart Flourish that I cut in half.

I pulled out some spring colors and some adornments and I like to set it all together before making it more permanently.

After applying the mask with some modeling paste. I used some of the Shimmerz from the kit and some of my own.

After the masking and spray I wanted to had a pop of color. I decieded to use the butterfly off the Sharon Stencil from the Bloom Girl Collection. I painted the flourishes with some acrylic paints and then heat embossed them.

So I put it all back together and used some heavy gel and got things to adhear. The question is to gesso or not to gesso. I went with some gesso after sleeping on it. I Used some Inklinz to add some more color to the adournments and flowers.

Unfortunately this canvas is untitled. I have the hardest time adding a title and I spent about 3 hours visualizing multiple different titles. I am not the best painter by any means so I am always willing to take suggestions.
