Mixed Media Keepsake Box
This is a box my hubby brought home from a job site. Inside was a bunch of antique surgical tools, a couple old scalpels, some forceps and tweezers. That was neat alone, but my mind started spinning. Lots of pictures this post.
So it started as just a box.
some Gesso
Added some texture
added some adornments and more gesso.
started to add some spray and some more texture with a mask and some microbeads.
And just kept adding until I got what I liked.
I wish the pictures could show the detail and the true color, it is a lot more vibrant in person. I haven’t decided what I’m going to use this for yet but I do like it.
Thanks for stopping by today!
