Creative Scrappers Featured Layout #267 Olivia’s Birthday

I’m getting a little better at this blogging thing. I will get better and better as I post more. I just realized I can post more than one picture. That’s pretty cool.:)

My layout is of my daughters birthday last year. So I don’t thinking I’m doing too bad being only one year behind. I don’t do much with red and really wanted to make this bold looking……ummmm…..It’s busy.

Olivia Birthday sketch challenge

This tag was fun to make and I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out. I used ink refill and just dripped it on there pretty thick. Than added some Glossy Accents and let it dry over night. I like the outcome.

I am really trying to get into the mixed media craze right now and not realizing after YouTube-ing all kinds of techniques it’s a ton harder than it looks.

I started out water coloring the back ground with some Faber-Castell Gelatos. Embossed the brick stencil with powder. Cut the circle (very technical here. I traced a salad plate from the kitchen.) Sometimes that’s easier than getting the cricut out. Stenciled that with some modeling paste.  And put is all together with some layering and glitter tape. Overall turned ok pretty good.
