I want to share a fun mixed media layout with you today, tons of details here. I totally loved the process this layout went through. This is a picture of Olivia and my Late Grandfathers 1934 Hudson at his funeral this last fall. It was a beautiful send off. One last ride.
I loved the vintage look of the old car, the shadows from the sun, and just old school. So I wanted to incorporate all of those in the layout.
Enjoy the close-ups.
As in the video. I added so much texture and details to the Brick Wall Chipboards. I also wanted to cover up the funeral home sign so I knew I had to place one strategically on the picture itself.
Using the Brick Stencil and texture paste, I pulled more bricks out of the background paper.
I used added so much details to the background, using layers of crackle paste, I also added a mould, and added more crackle, all to age the look of the layout.
I love the look of this layout and it is so vintage. I hope you enjoyed the video process. Thank you for stopping by today.
