Fleeting Moments
Olivia had the opportunity to attend Ministry of Mixology in Chicago a couple weeks back. She meet her idol and friend Tracy Weinzapfel. Tracy is a mixed media painter who teamed up with Andy Skinner from England to host a two day painting/mixed media event.
Olivia has been painting with Tracy for almost 3 years every Monday via live Ustream, and when we found out Andy and Tracy where going to be in one place and so close to home, there was no way we were going to miss it.
So I will be scrapping some of the memories over the next couple of weeks. This picture is of the first night they meet, it worked out perfect. (except no-one was ready with a camera.) We got there a couple days early and we walked in and Tracy and Andy walked around the other corner.
Such happy smiles. So Olivia got her one on one time with Andy and Tracy ahead of class time. (She can be a cling-on)
So I chose to the title Fleeting Moments because it was a very short visit. Just as fast as the weekend came, the weekend was gone. This truly was a special day for everyone involved.
I got to play with some new stencils I got from 13@rts and some new paper. I combine it with some older collections from 13@rts.
