Harvest Time

Harvest Time

As Halloween fast approaches. I find myself wanting to get these halloween projects done. Once it’s over, it’s over until next year.

And I must confess, I have never worked with G45……ok I have a boat loads of it, but never really played around with it. So I dug down and bit my lip and started to just cut and see where it would take me.

I decided a long time ago I am not a fan of fussy cutting, so I chose the big patterns and pictures to cut out, in hopes to piece together some type of composition that actually looked and made some sense.

I used a clock stencil to work with the “Harvest Time” title, and did some subtle background stamping.

I altered the chipboard with some embossing medium and then powder, I used a paint brush to paint on the medium for better control when I applied the powder in different colours.

Add a little bit of flowers and cheesecloth and some shadowing of Lindy’s around the edges for some more details.

So with my first G45 under my belt, I may have to play some more with the company, It was fun and came together easier than I thought. So be safe and have fun this Halloween.
