Opposites
Well nothing like challenging myself. As many of you now I am a very colorful person, on so many levels. Wink. So to try a challenge that is black and white put me a bit on edge.
I decided to try my hand at a black and white canvas. I figured if I totally trashed it, I could at least hang it up in the hallway out of sight.
I started with some decoupaging some patterned paper on the bottom layer using some matte medium.
After drying I added some crackle paste with some stencils to give it some more texture.
Just some fine details with some delica beads, some beads from on old necklace, and cheese cloth.
It was a very interesting evolution of this, and through a couple stages of ugliness, I actually like the finished product.
Thank you for stopping by today.
