“Wildflowers”
I got to play a little bit and made a layout featuring a picture I took of some wild grass this last winter. I used lots of 7 Dots goodies and lots of layering.
I started by adding a layer of clear gesso, it helps when adding lots of mediums to the paper. The paper doesn’t get saturated by using this technique.
I started the background by adding some gold crackle paste through the 7 Dots Wonky Halftone mask. After letting the air dry to get the full crackle effect I stamped with a background stamp.
I added more shading to the background with some Oil Pastels.
I also used the oil pastels on the Homegrown Chippies.
7 Dots challenge is to use a favorite quote, I cant say I have a favorite, but I do use them a lot. And the word stickers work wonders for a layout.
This quote is perfect for creating art. Flowers and Art, two of my favorite things.
Thank you for taking a peak today. Enjoy the day to the fullest.
