“Escape” To My Paradise

“Escape” To My Paradise

Another month, another More Than Words Challenge. This month it’s based on a mood picture and the word “Escape”.  Some of us want to escape from the daily grind of a stressful job, or the daily responsibilities at home. For me especially in the summer. I just want to escape to my paradise. My quiet little corner on earth, in my beautiful gardens with my crazy little household.

With spring soon approaching, I am getting excited for the ever changing world around me. The picture is a unique view of the many I escape to on a daily basis.

So the inspiration photos says tons. But I did go out of my norm and chose to add an array of color and texture to this piece. There are so many different colors, shapes, textures, sounds and smells in my gardens, it’s a kaleidoscope for a persons senses. Hence the rainbow.

I had a vision, although it did not turn out as I expected, it turned out quite nicely.

So after some crackle texture and some careful splattering, some gelatins and watercolor paper, lots of punches.  The layout was assembled.

I want to Thank you all for escaping to my paradise.

Heather
