Grow Art Journal
This is my Garden Journal that I keep all my info about my crazy gardens. I am the keeper of the lists. I have lists, maps, journals, spreadsheets, you name it, I have it written down somewhere.
I actually have a few of these journals and just love them. Sturdy and durable.
So here is my creative process:
pre-anything
Pre-anything, covered the window with some thick cardstock, and adhered the relic on.
I always have to lay everything out to get a good visual. Not one of those gals that can just throw things together.
The mess trying to find the right pieces.
Gesso’d and stenciled. Ready for some spray.
Spray is on, now to cautiously gesso and paint the adornments without ruining the background.
This is were I painted it this spring.
Now for the pretty close-ups.
I added some more dimension to the bee with some flat backed beads and some cyrstals for the eyes.
I love bling and used some beautiful broaches for the center’s of my flowers.
