Garden Party Notebook with 7 Dots Studio

As the holidays are just round the corner, I decide to get ahead on my homemade gifts. I decided what better than to make some post-it notes. Who doesn’t need a note pad to write all those “Honey to Do” lists or to remind the kids to put the dishes away.  Such a great little gift idea any size would work, but I decided to use the bigs ones. I am a list maker, and some one my lists can get big.

Nick notebookI started with basic measurements, enough to wrap around the full note pads. After some basic scoring, I used some small magnets to make a closure for the notebook wrap. I made a video of the creative process.

Here are some close-ups for you all.

  1. Beautiful, and a great idea for gifts! I enjoyed seeing how you constructed the covers. The magnets are a great idea. I am a list maker too. Having such a beautiful notebook would make writing lists a pleasure!
