Hoar Ice

This is some creative team work for Flying Unicorn. This is a layout I did of the crazy Hoar Ice we had recently. So in a nutshell Hoar ice and Rime Ice is where water vapors change directly to ice formations with out becoming a liquid first. It usually involves sub-freezing air and wet conditions.The difference between the two depends on the crystal formation and at times can be hard to tell apart.

Riddersholm has two “fence” papers in this collection. I had already used on as a background and needed to come up with something a bit different with the other. So I made a fence panel. Very fitting that it is cricked, just matches my fence in the back yard.

The Small Arts Big Passion Kit came with a butterfly Die set. So I cut a bunch and made some flowers out of them.

 I added a lot of fake snow and icicles with some liquid glass. And the letters reminded me of the Rime ice, so fitting for this layout.
